It was the fastest-selling PC release…ever, back, when it came out, and three years after release in 2015, Blizzard announced that it has sold 30 million copies (which may include its Reaper of Souls expansion). Diablo 3, even with its disastrous launch and Real Money Auction House shenanigans, evolved into a megahit in short order. They’re more or less all like that, and I don’t think we can underestimate just how well a Diablo game can sell and just how beloved this series is. But with just a taste of Diablo 4, I already feel like Blizzard has given me something I never knew I wanted.” All I needed was an updated version of my favorite ARPG to be happy.
